Join us on our improvement journey in Northern Lincolnshire and Goole towards 'Better Births'. As a result of retirement we have the opportunity to advertise for a midwife to join our community midwifery team. We offer all our community staff an annual update and the opportunity to maintain all skills as a rotational midwife in a forward looking service with staff that have the enthusiasm to improve care for women and families.
The unit has recently been awarded BFI Level 3 and are passionate about offering women and their families the most up to date, evidence based care.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced midwife to join our established team of midwives at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. The post will be based at our Diana Princess of Wales Hospital site with community care to women in the Grimsby and Louth areas. The successful post holder will provide antenatal and postnatal care to women with low and high risk pregnancies. providing oncall cover to women requesting a home birth.
There will be a requirement to provide an on call service and some weekends. The site base and contracted hours will be allocated on appointment. This is a rotational contract and you will be expected to rotate into the hospital.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
