We have an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic band 5 Occupational Therapist to work on rotation across acute and community areas. Together we aim to deliver high quality community services within Acute Medicine and Orthopaedics, Stroke, Community , inpatient rehabilitation. Each Rotation lasts for a 6 month period.

The successful applicant will receive formal support from senior staff within the team together with preceptorship in your first year and regular supervision and Appraisal. You will be responsible for the day to day management of your own caseload of patients and participate in quality assurance processes for the allocation of the work. The initial vacancy lies within stroke and you will need to be a car driver. You will have the opportunity to work very closely with social care staff and nurses.

As a junior clinician you will hold a standard case load and you will have the ability and support to make clinical evidenced based decisions across a range of physical patient conditions. You will be expected to work as an autonomous practitioner, manage and prioritise your case load

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
