Working within the Stroke speciality of the department

We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist with clinical experience and interest within the field of Neuropsychology and stroke. You will join a small but very active service providing assessment, treatment and a range of interventions for adults in neuropsychology in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The Service provides a service for patients who have had a stroke, however you will also work with patients with other neuropsychological . Both assessment and neuropsychological interventions are offered to patients and their families. A broad range of conditions are seen including acquired brain injury, and degenerative conditions such as multiple sclerosis.

Applicants should be qualified Clinical Psychologists who have experience in working with people with physical health problems and disability within a multidisciplinary setting. The post-holder must have the ability to function effectively as part of a team and also to work autonomously where required.

Clinical research and ongoing professional development are actively encouraged within this supportive service. The services are provided across a range of settings in North and North East Lincolnshire, therefore a car driver is essential.
