Together We Care, We Respect and We Deliver

Join us and help us provide this vision to a population of more than 440,000 people.  Our Trust is one the of area’s biggest employers, running hospitals in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole as well as community services.

We are seeking to appoint to a key strategic post within our Trust to support the Medical Director’s Office in delivering core strategic aims.

Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust is currently in “double special measures” for quality and finances, but with a new Chief Executive and senior leadership changes is driving change within the organisation to engage with staff, change culture, and renew focus on the quality of services delivered.

This post will report to and deputise for the Medical Director, and as a new additional role the scope and responsibilities will develop with input from the successful postholder. You will work alongside the existing Deputy Medical Director and it is proposed that the Deputy MD’s responsibilities will align into the 2 roles as articulated in the job description, but these will be negotiable on appointment of the successful candidate.

This post will provide opportunities to positively influence the care delivered in the region by safeguarding high quality patient care by supporting the Medical Director in delivering on a diverse range of areas including the continuous improvement plan, job planning, performance, workforce, governance, and clinical leadership.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with considerable clinical leadership experience within a large organisation who are effective communicators.

PA allocation is negotiable and will be taken in context of clinical activity. The successful postholder will be encouraged to undertake clinical activity and opportunities will be explored within the context of the current workforce.
