Together We Care, We Respect and We Deliver

Join us and help us provide this vision to a population of more than 440,000 people.  Our Trust is one the of area’s biggest employers, running hospitals in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole as well as community services.

Deputy Medical Directors

Post 1 - Productivity & Performance

Post 2 -  Quality of Care & Governance

We are seeking to appoint to two new key strategic posts within our Trust to support the Medical Director’s Office in delivering core strategic aims.

Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust is currently in “double special measures” for quality and finances, but with a new Chief Executive and senior leadership changes is driving change within the organisation to engage with staff, change culture, and renew focus on the quality of services delivered.

These posts will report to the Medical Director, and as they are new roles the scope and responsibilities will develop with input from the successful postholders who will work closely together and provide cross cover as well as deputising for the Medical Director.

These posts will provide opportunities to positively influence the care delivered in the region by safeguarding high quality patient care by supporting the Medical Director in delivering on a diverse range of areas including the continuous improvement plan, job planning, performance, workforce, governance, and clinical leadership.

We are looking for dynamic individuals with considerable clinical leadership experience within a large organisation who are effective communicators.

PA allocation is negotiable and will be taken in context of clinical activity. The successful postholders will be encouraged to undertake clinical activity and opportunities will be explored within the context of the current workforce.

Applicant requirements

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
