Join us and help us provide this vision to a population of more than 440,000 people.  Our Trust is one the of area’s biggest employers, running hospitals in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole as well as community services. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team on ward 16 at Scunthorpe General Hospital.

Ward 16 provides care to a variety of patients. The ward has 13 care of the elderly beds and these patients can be very complex and have multiple co-morbidities which enables to staff to learn about many aspects of elderly care. There is a great emphasis of multi disciplinary working with therapy and medical teams.

The ward also has 10 short stay medical beds which is a very dynamic and fast moving service for patients.

The ward is currently the lead ward within the hospital for implementing the SAFER patient flow bundle to try and improve the whole patient pathway.

Successful candidates will have good training opportunities which will allow them to grow within the role of a band 5 staff nurse
