This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Trauma and Orthopaedic team. Ward 11 has 15 trauma beds and takes a wide variety of patients from both the Emergency Care Centre and direct from General Practitioners. Ward 10 has 16 beds and is our elective orthopaedic surgery ward, and deals with many varied procedures. Nursing staff rotate between the two wards, thus enabling experience to be gained in both fields.
Registered nurse working as part of a Trauma and Orthopaedic team, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. You will be responsible for prioritising your work load and direct patient care.
It is essential for this post that you are a 1st Level Registered Nurse.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
